Quality Seafood just got named one of the Best Oyster Bars in LA by the Daily Breeze News. We’re proud and honored to wear that badge. For the past 9 years, we’ve been shucking some of the best oysters from around the world for our customers.
And just today, in an article by Merrill Shindler, he writes, “And lest I give them short shrift, you can also get lots of oysters — raw and delicious — at EMC Seafood & Oyster Bar in L.A.’s Koreatown, Connie & Ted’s in West Hollywood and the fabled Quality Seafood in Redondo Beach, which is really more a seafood market than an oyster bar.”
We actually pride ourselves at being more of a seafood market than an oyster bar. We believe seafood should be a communal affair, where one can relax, enjoy, and let things get a little messy. We also have something, or some kind, of seafood for everyone. Be it fried shrimp, roasted chicken, grilled fish, steamed crab, live sea urchin, or raw oysters, we have something for everyone.
That being said, we do oysters right. We have a large selection of oysters to choose from, sourcing from both coasts of the US, as well as New Zealand. All of our oysters are alive, and shucked right in front of you, to ensure you get the best flavor possible. We also make our own delicious oyster cocktail sauce to accompany any of your selections. These are just a few of the reasons why we were named one of the best oyster bars in LA.
